1. (of a piece of music or musical style) To make into zouk music, or to adapt to a zouk-like sound.
   • The band delivers fresh approaches to standard zouk rhythms (even a zoukified treatment of a kadrille in "Zouk Kadrye") that never sound formulaic. 1995, The Beat, volume 14, page 34:
