(qualifier:logistics, uncountable, usually) An order picking method where the warehouse is separated in different zones.
These orders may be grouped by warehouse zone, such as single-unit pick area, case pick area, or bulk or pallet pick areas. With zone picking an order may be split and subsequently consolidated in the shipping area.
