1. (countable, uncountable) A substance that kills worms.
   • Worms get the upper hand when the balance of health is on the ebb. The use of wormicides when the animal has lost its vitality is detrimental to its life. 1938, Report, Bombay (Province) Dept. of Agriculture, page 247:
