    • (but the last two are not interchangeable in formal registers)
  2. (not-comparable, of a message or program) Able to be transmitted. ▸ Capable of being transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver.
  3. (not-comparable) Able to transmit a disease; infectious, contagious.
    • Because I think from a public health perspective, knowing that you are transmissible and going around transmitting, because sometimes that's not your main intention. I don't want to go around to transmit. But I think knowing that you are transmissible and still engaging in possible acts that might transmit the virus is an irresponsible thing to do.
