Meanings

1. A process that combines heat (thermal treatment) and filtration to remove or deactivate microorganisms, particles, or contaminants from liquids, particularly in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and water purification.

   • When cascade filtration is performed at room temparature, plasme in the secondary filter reaches a temperature of around 30℃.
