    • Temporarily able-bodied persons may unfavorably judge those who are disabled because of their misinformed perception of disability and the absence of any relationship with someone who is disabled. 2013, David W.     • One way out of the identity impasse which was adopted by some activists in the late 1980s was to employ the term 'temporarily able-bodied' (TAB) to refer to those people who do not identify as disabled.
