    • One of the things that Barrus has done, no doubt for the money, is Mineshaft, a novel issued in pulp by MagCorp as, supposedly, a sadomasochistic stroke book. The joke is on MagCorp and those who snub books which, judged by their covers, are written for the mass (cheap pornography) market.
