Blend of she + economy, popularized by a 2019 Morgan Stanley report titled “The Rise of the SHEconomy”.

Meanings

1. (countable, uncountable) The trend whereby women are gaining economic power, and living increasingly consumerist lifestyles, particularly when it comes to spending on fashion, food, cars, and apartments.
