Etymology

From Cantonese 三燒 /三烧 (“thrice-burnt”), a former name of 三蒸酒 (sānzhēngjiǔ, “thrice-distilled alcohol”).

1. (uncountable) A triple-distilled variety of rice-based baijiu.
