  1. A frame built in or around the driver and passenger compartment of a vehicle to protect its occupants from being injured in an accident, particularly if the vehicle rolls over.
  2. A cage-like container mounted on small wheels, which can be rolled on and off a vehicle and used for the transport of goods.
