(obsolete, uncountable) A cation, Rh₂(NH₃)₁₀⁶⁺, containing rhodium and ammonia.
When the ammoniacal compound is mixed with excess ammonia and the solution filtered and concentrated, a yellow salt is obtained, which, on treatment with water, loses ammonium chloride and forms rhodammonium trichloride, 10NH₃Rh₂Cl₆.
