After German Rhabdomyoma; equivalent to rhabdo- + myoma.

Meanings

1. (countable, uncountable) A non-cancerous tumor of skeletal muscle.
   • Rhabdomyoma is the most common of primary cardiac neoplasms found in infants and children. It is rare in adults. Fifty per cent of patients with rhabdomyoma also have tuberous sclerosis—a familial disease consisting of epilepsy, mental retardation, and adenoma sebaceum. 1977, J.
