A domain of a proprotein
When a prodomain is cleaved from inactive Casp7 by upstream caspases, it undergoes auto-proteolysis into a p20 subunit (fragment containing residues 57–198) and p11 subunit (207–303) that associate to form an active Casp7 [48 ].
