(Internet, derogatory) A man who travels abroad in the hope of finding a romantic partner, often in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, or the Caribbean.
After being first used online in 2004 then petering out in 2007, the term "passport bro" has been revived on TikTok, where videos tagged with #passportbros have gained almost 420 million views. ¶ One such video shows self-described passport bro, Austin Abeyta, explaining the benefits of dating in different countries.
