oversand en · VERB
Etymology
From over- + sand.
Meanings
-
(transitive) To sand excessively.
Sometimes you can oversand an outer area, but the fix is simple. Glue a small section of sheet stock to the base of the part and blend it in. Be sure that the entire surface of the sheet has a very thin coat of glue on it.
