Etymology

A calque of Japanese 裸エプロン (はだかエプロン, hadaka epuron), from 裸 (はだか, hadaka, “naked, nude, bare”) + エプロン (epuron, “apron”), in turn borrowed from English apron.

Meanings

1. An apron worn over a person's naked body.
