Meanings

1. (transitive) To equalize badly.
   • The most common symptom of incorrect equalization (assuming good associated equipment) is a bright, hard, elevated roughness of response above approximately 2 kHz. I think all of us have heard systems misequalized that way. 1981, The Absolute Sound - Volume 6, Issues 21-24, page 73:
