(alt-of, alternative, uncountable, usually) Alternative spelling of likeability.
Women who make executive decisions and tell people what to do (instead of asking them what they’d like to do) win points for being decisive but lose far more points for likability. The press (and plenty of others) call these women bossy, pushy, and opinionated, and the adjectives quickly get nastier from there.
