Meanings

(countable, uncountable) A soft, thin flatbread made with flour, water, yeast, and salt, baked in a tandoor, and sometimes sprinkled with sesame seeds or poppy seeds before baking.
Once you’ve got the chicken right, it’s up to you whether you serve it over rice, stuffed into a fluffy pita or wrapped up in a paper-thin lavash – and which sauce you go for, if any.
