Unadapted borrowing from Hindi लग्गर (laggar).

  1. The jugger (Falco jugger), a mid-sized falcon native to the Indian subcontinent, Afghanistan, Iran, and Myanmar, which is similar to the European lanner falcon (Falco biarmicus) and the American prairie falcon (Falco mexicanus).
