Etymology

From the Ancient Greek κόρη (kórē, “girl”) + φῐλῐ́ᾱ (phĭlĭ́ā, “love”), coined by analogy with pedophilia.

    • It seems safe to assume that the panelists were referring to (pick your term) man–boy love, pederasty, ephebophilia.
