The conjugate base, or any salt or ester, of ibandronic acid. Used as a medication to inhibit bone loss in disorders of bone metabolism.
Oral bisphosphonates were the predominant treatment recommended by physicians with 35 of the 44 patients reporting that their physician recommended alendronate, ibandronate, or risedronate (Table 4).
