1. (uncountable, usually) The state of being hyperdiploid; hyperploidy in diploid organisms (including humans).
   • In this issue of Blood, Dastugue and colleagues report their findings examining the impact of hyperdiploidy on the outcome of children with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
