1. A harmonised melody played on guitar.
   • Starting in the late '60s as the Sweetshop, they nicked from Jeff Lynne-era Move (whose "Do Ya" was a template), but their layered vocals, clever guitarmonies, and feathered hairstyles influenced Queen and Def Leppard, among many others. 2009 June, SPIN, page 92:
