1. (neologism) Relating to or involving do-ocracies ("an organization in which power is held by those who do the most work").
   • Specifically, I propose that frictions in hacker- and makerspaces relate to competing values such as inclusivity and fairness versus "do-ocratic" tendencies. The notion of "do-ocracy" refers to the (explicit or implicit) assumption that expertise is decisive for agency within a community.
