1. (Canada, US) A flat diaper which is already hourglass-shaped, rendering folding unnecessary.
   • A new R&D effort produced Huggies, a contour diaper with an hourglass shape and elastic leg bands. Introduced in 1978, the new brand achieved national distribution in 1982.
