1. (informal, rare) Synonym of chocoholic.
   • Eaten as a greasy mass in the warmth of your home as a supplement to an already adequate calorie meal, it [chocolate] is deadly. Yet in our cold Northern winters, out of doors, carried by hillwalkers, mountaineers or hunters, when it splinters in the hand, hard and brittle at those low temperatures, it is a valuable and harmless food.
