1. The side of the body of a motor car (or other vehicle).
   • Although exhibiting some typical Bulleid design features — the continuous curve of the bodyside and the toplights above the door droplights being particularly characteristic — the interior of the vehicles owed much to Maunsell era practice. 1979 August, Graham Burtenshaw, Michael S.    • There are no bodyside parcels racks, but a slatted shelf is provided at the base of each chair, under the seat, for light articles such as brief cases or handbags.
