We live this way, on misson with God, because we are people of God. In this way, our actions are in response to our calling, and thus originate not in our own awesomeness but in the Divine Awesomitude. We can't really claim to be these people if we refuse to do what such people are called to do—but doing is a result of being, not the other way around.
