From anti- + frustration + -ism, coined by German analytic philosopher Christoph Fehige in 1998.
Meanings
- (uncountable) The axiological view that frustrated preferences create a negative moral 'debit' which can be canceled out through their satisfaction. Thus, satisfying a desire that already exists is good, but creating a new satisfied desire is not.
