From the Hanyu Pinyin romanization of Mandarin 吳淞 /吴淞 (Wúsōng).

Meanings

1. A subdistrict of Baoshan District in Shanghai, China.
2. (historical) A former name of the Suzhou Creek in Shanghai.
3. (historical) A former name of the Wenzaobang in Shanghai.
4. (historical) A port city on the lower Huangpu River near its confluence with the Yangtze, since merged with Shanghai.
