Meanings

1. Reminiscent or characteristic of the US state Wisconsin.
   • Public service commission laws are the fad, and in a year or two it will be a poor state that has none. The style is generally New Yorkesque or Wisconsinesque, but every commission dressmaker adds a few frills here and leaves a few off there. 1912 December 14, J. H.
