1. Relating to the Punic language as it existed after the fall of Carthage in 146 BCE.
   • The relative isolation of the Punic speech community in Sardinia from the rest of the Punic-speaking world is demonstrated by a monolingual Punic inscription from the late 2ⁿᵈ or early 3ʳᵈ c.
