1. (qualifier:now largely obsolete and offensive) Muslim.
   • MOSQUE (Fr. mosquée, from Sp. mezquita, from Ar. masjid, temple, from sajada, to prostrate one's self, to pray). A Mohammedan house of prayer and worship.
