Etymology

The atonal Hanyu Pinyin of the Mandarin pronunciation of Chinese 金山 (Jīnshān, literally “Gold Mountain”). * (area in Shanghai): Named for Dajinshan Island to its south, the highest point of natural elevation in Shanghai Municipality.
