Etymology

Ostensibly from Indian + taco, based on the use of frybread, an American Indian food, similarity of toppings to those in tacos, and the fact that the frybread is sometimes folded as part of the dish.

1. A dish made of fry bread topped with ingredients such as beans, cheese, and lettuce.
