From Daria + -core, coined by Jane Remover for her 2021 album Dariacore, after character Daria Morgendorffer from adult animated sitcom Daria.

(uncountable) A genre of electronic music related to hyperpop, which features prominent vocal samples, chaotic and distorted production, and influences from future bass, mashup, nightcore and Jersey club.
“Hyperflip”, or as it’s commonly known, “Dariacore,” is my favorite trend in electronic music at the moment. Its mindmelting blend of Hyperpop, EDM, 2000’s pop samples, and Jersey Club is truly something to behold.
