Meanings

1. In an Aristotelian manner.
   • We have a special name for this making, we call it 'creation', but it is not difficult to see that creation names an Aristotelianly impossible kind of making, just as transubstantiation names an Aristotelianly impossible kind of change; and for approximately the same reason. 1972 December, Herbert McCabe, “Transubstantiation: A reply to G.
